Reading My Color Words
This program is designed for students who would benefit from lessons that move at a slower pace, are repitions and simpler in size, with a lot of reinforcement.
The color lessons are set up un an order that reinforces the color words previously covered.
We want to move those new words learned from short term memory to long term memory.Continuing to bring the past colors along with the new color will help to accomplish this goal.
With the purchase of the "Reading My Color Words" workbook you will also receive the flash cards that you can use to play a matching game. First you match the color words in color to the matching color card. Then as the student progresses you start matching the black and white color word cards to the color cards. Whew! That's a mouthful. It is sounds confusing but you will understand when you see the cards.

Repeition, repetition and more repition! I can hear you moaning. Now,think about how often you sing the alphabet song, count 1,2,3.., ask "what color is this?" Then we turn around and expect our children to learn to read with how many repetitions? You got it, not very many. Think about that for a while.
